For example, if you were to use a p-value of 0.01, then you should load the group-level image and right-click on the T-t area above the slider bar; then select "set p-threshold" and enter 0.01. Note the slider t-statistic, and use that for your conjunction analysis.

Best,

-AndyAndrew Jahnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16435706598096921650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405968300258104460.post-56937839003466308092017-09-05T21:29:03.428-04:002017-09-05T21:29:03.428-04:00Hi Andy, Thank you for this post! What t statistic would you recommend for 3 contrasts and an N = 20?

SarahUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00221486796392714248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1405968300258104460.post-66554601771541425942016-10-03T15:56:39.423-04:002016-10-03T15:56:39.423-04:00Hi Andy!

It has been very useful.

I am trying to run a 3dAnova analysis with my data.

I have one group of 16 subjects who were tested before and after real treatment or placebo.

So i ran the following parameters.
A: Before and after
B: Real treatment/ placebo treatment
C: subjects

3dANOVA3 -type 5, with -alevels 2 -blevels 2 -clevels 16 (number of fixed subjects)

I would like to compute the followin contrasts
(after > before) real treatment >(after > before) placebo treatment

but in the Afni guide the example of contrasts are only shown with one factor fixed.

ex. Before: real treatment > placebo treatment
after: real treatment > placebo treatment

Do you have an idea of how i can code the contrasts I want??

I appreciate all your help!

MayaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03612725325242767796noreply@blogger.com
